From April 22 to 27, 2025, the European Wheelchair Rugby Championship will be held in The Hague. In the spirit of inclusion, a special blind stand will be organized on Thursday, April 24. This blind stand will be available during the match at 4:00 PM, with an entry time of 3:30 PM. The first presenter of the blind stand has already been announced: parawatcher Robin Wubben.
Tickets
Tickets for the blind stand are completely free. All you need to do is register via the registration form. After filling out the form, you will receive a copy of your registration by email. Keep this email safe, as it will be your entry ticket on Thursday, April 24. During your visit to the European Wheelchair Rugby Championship, you are allowed to bring both a dog and a companion.
Equipment
At the blind stand, we use equipment from Gazeti. The great thing about Gazeti is that you can choose where to sit, as you use your own earphones or headphones. However, seats are reserved for people who want to sit together at the blind stand. Before the match, you will receive a link via email to the website or app where you can listen to the match commentary. To use the blind stand, it is important to bring your own phone and earphones or headphones.
Accessibility
On Thursday, April 24, someone from the organization will be ready at the Zuiderpark tram stop at 3:15 PM to guide anyone who needs assistance to the Sports Campus. If you want to use this service, please indicate this in the registration form so that the number of guides needed can be estimated.

Visible Sporty Multisport Day
On Thursday, April 24, a Multisport Day will take place at the Zuiderpark Sports Campus for people with visual impairments. During this day, you can try out various sports, both team and individual sports. No experience is necessary – the goal is to discover what you enjoy and what is possible.
