Experience Wheelchair Rugby during our side events
From April 22 to 27, 2025, the European Wheelchair Rugby Championship will take place at Sportcampus Zuiderpark in The Hague. During this spectacular tournament the eight best countries will compete for the coveted European title. Wheelchair rugby, or “murderball,” combines elements of rugby, basketball and ice hockey, offering a spectacular mix of physical confrontations, speed and tactics.
Prior to and during the tournament, several side events will be organized to experience wheelchair rugby for yourself and meet the players of the sport.
On Saturday, April 19, for example, we will be in the center of The Hague, on the Grote Marktstraat and the Buitenhof, and on April 22 and 24 we will organize a multi-sport day for people with disabilities.
Sport is for everyone, which is why the organization is setting up a special grandstand for visually impaired fans on Thursday, April 24, at the game at 4 p.m. Tickets for this blind grandstand are free; you just need to sign up: Blind Grandstand - European Wheelchair Rugby Championship 2025.
